Graduation

Students who successfully complete the programme (academic study and work placement/internship) will be awarded with the Certificate in International Hotel and Tourism Operations by HTMi Hotel and Tourism Management Institute.Certificate graduates can continue on to the Diploma in International Hotel and Tourism Management.

Entry Requirements

UK students

No prior work experience is required to be eligible for entry to this MBA International programme.

You will need to satisfy the general admissions requirements of the programme, which are as follows:

One of the following:

An honours degree of a British University or equivalent institution (minimum 2:2). For the 18-month version, a third-class honours or ordinary degree

An equivalent graduate level qualification from an overseas university or equivalent institution (minimum 2:2). For the 18-month version, a third-class honours or ordinary degree

A graduate level professional qualification in an appropriate field of study

A pre-masters programme approved by Birmingham City University.

Other qualifications will be considered on a case by case basis.

If you are a mature student but do not fulfil the standard entry requirements outlined above, your application will also be considered.

English Language requirements

Essential

International students must be able to furnish satisfactory evidence of a level of attainment in English Language commensurate with study at Master’s level in the University.

In most cases, this will be a minimum TOEFL score of 57.5 or a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 average (minimum of 5.5 in each band).

In addition, a GMAT score of at least 500 is preferable, but is not an admissions requirement.

References

Applicants should provide two academic references in support of their application to the Master of Business Administration International course and may be subject to interview.
